Assistance with insurance submissions for reimbursement and precertification: Contact our Accounts Manager for help in this area. There is generally no fee for this service. We believe in high quality care and excellent service for our families. We maintain that medical care is best practiced by caring, well trained physicians who have the freedom to select the best options available for the needs of their patients. Hence, we do not participate in any insurance plans.

Referral letters: Specialists providing consultations for our patients are prepared with background information so maximum benefit can be obtained from their service. Specialist are selected according to their expertise. We endeavor to search out the best physician for the individual child's needs. In addition, we will gladly correspond with schools or other organizations, upon parental request or approval, regarding any special needs of our patients.

Retrieval of inactivated records: Clinical information of patients who have outgrown pediatrics or have moved from our area are retrievable from archives indefinitely. Upon appropriate request, we will provide medical record copies or summaries to parents or physicians in a timely manner.

Form completion: Timely completion of school and health forms is provided at no cost.

Fees: We regard our fees as reasonable and in keeping with the costs of providing superior service. If you have any question about our fees, please feel free to discuss them with us. We prefer that you pay at the time service is rendered. We will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Upon request, we will provide an insurance breakdown that you can attach to your completed insurance form for newborn care, emergency room care and any inpatient hospital care that we may render to your child. Staff:

Ann Sooby, our Accounts Manager, has been a loyal employee since 1989. Ann helps families to keep their accounts current. She assists with insurance inquiries and submissions. Any family with special financial needs can depend on Ann to help in making suitable payment arrangements.

Our secretarial employees, Jan Wagner (1975), Grace Hannan (1987) and Maria Kosul (1989) blend stability and know-how to our office functioning. In 2004, we have been fortunate to attract Tracy Riesz as a full time employee. After her brief leave of absence, we are happy to welcome back Angela Fish (1992). Jill Hague (1998) and Jamie Kosul (2004) help us out on weekends and holidays. They all have the energy and enthusiasm that keep us all young in our work. Our staff retrieves, prepares and files charts and letters, answers phones, makes appointments, fills out forms, executes faxes, makes phone calls, restocks forms, orders supplies, escorts patients to rooms, occasionally plays with the children and holds infants for the parents and performs a host of other duties too numerous to list. They are the glue that holds the office together and allows it to function smoothly and efficiently.
